MANSION T.U.T.T.SOUTH PHILLY,PA
Joseph “Mansion T.U.T.T” Goodman hails from South
Philly’s notorious Southwark projects. His mother
enrolled him into the prestigious Settlement Music
School in Pennsylvania and T.U.T.T. excelled in four
instruments, particularly the piano and violin. But
due to his parents being addicts, T.U.T.T. was forced
to take on great responsibility at an early age. At
age 11, the same month his biological father was
sentenced to life in prison, he got his first job -
working in a drug house immersed in crack smoke,
violence and fast money. By age 12, T.U.T.T. had been
shot, watched a man die, and after several arrests
he was sentenced to 18 months in a juvenile facility.
There he met another troubled youth by the name
of Dwight Grant, known to most as “Beanie Sigel.”
T.U.T.T. began to write poetry, and occasionally
rhymes. After being released from the facility, he
was looking for direction and something to belong
to, other than the streets. But it wasn’t until he
saw Snoop Dogg’s “Nuthin’ But a G Thang” video
that he decided to throw his hat into the rap arena.
He would stand on the corner of 32nd & Norris/
Strawberry Mansion - aka “Thug Mansion” - and hustle two products, music being one.
T.U.T.T. recorded his first album under the name “Liive” and caught the interest of some
major labels. T.U.T.T. would go on to record a few albums of material and a mixtape with
“The Game” called Gangster Recognize Gangster, hosted by “DJ MarvLS,” Bad Boy records’
DJ and CEO of “The Record Breakaz Squad.”
